Luke 10: 1-2

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Mark 6:7

And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits

REHAB AND NURSING HOME EVANGELISM

Matthew 25:35-40

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Prophetic role of prayer in healthcare

A visit to a rehabilitation and nursing home is often a transformative experience, where compassion and spirituality come together to provide solace and support to residents facing health challenges

Spirituality in Incarceration

A prison prayer visit is a profound experience that transcends the confines of correctional facilities. It involves entering an environment marked by confinement and societal retribution to offer solace, empathy, and spiritual connection to incarcerated individuals

Street Serenity

Interpersonal prayer on the street offers a counterbalance to the frenetic pace of urban life, providing moments of tranquility, connection, and shared humanity. By embracing this practice, individuals contribute to the creation of a more compassionate and understanding community, where public spaces become venues for spiritual unity and collective serenity.
